The Parks Committee had an interesting discussion. Topics ranged from homeless campers in the park to the value of a healthy tree canopy for all.

- Lowrider car shows and better locations Parks can assist with.
- Illegal camping in the park.
Robert Sherry- Sacramento Tree Foundation Update
- Shared scientific research on the value of trees to communities and children.
- Provided details about how underserved communities can reach out to get free trees for their neighborhoods.
- Discussed the work to improve the tree canopy in William Land Park.
