Time to meet some great folks and clean up Land Park with the Land Park Volunteer Corps.

This is a great opportunity to get some fresh air and exercise while supporting William Land Park. It’s also perfect for students needing a few extra volunteer hours for the month!

Work starts at 9am but arrive at 8:30 to enjoy the free coffee and pastries.  Remember, there’s a complimentary BBQ lunch for all the hard-working volunteers around 12pm.

The Land Park Volunteer Corps. hosts a clean up day once a month from March thru November. They accept donations to help pay for the food and materials to support park clean ups plus other maintenance projects in the park. The LPVC began to help support William Land Regional Park after serious financial cuts to the City Parks budget.

If you would like to get more involved to help our beautiful park, there are several opportunities:

1. Contact Craig Powell/LPVC and offer to join his main team who host park clean up events. Or offer a donation to help pay for the food and other materials volunteers need: ckpinsacto@gmail.com
