The LPCA supports all our Sacramento PERMITTED food vendors. We love a good food truck!
But, illegal vendors are not held to food standards that permitted food vendors are. It’s always a risk when you purchase food for you or your kids from an unpermitted food vendor.
If you see an illegal food vendor, or have suffered from food poisoning due to one, you can report them to Sacramento County:

When reporting an illegal food vendor, you should include the time of day and the specific address where the vendor is located.
Sacramento County issues color-coded placards to permitted food vendors, which should be visible to customers. These placards indicate that the vendor has been inspected and is aware of proper food safety practices.
