After three years of virtual and drive-thru bazaars, the Buddhist Church of Sacramento’s Annual Food and Cultural Bazaar will return for one day only from Noon to 8:00 pm on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 2401 Riverside Boulevard in Sacramento.  Although this year’s festival will be scaled down a bit, it will feature popular Japanese food such as teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef sandwiches, udon, sushi, gyoza, and curry rice.  This year, yakisoba and karaage chicken have been added to the menu. The bazaar will feature children’s games and entertainment including the Sacramento Taiko Dan’s Youth Ensemble, the Sakura Minyo Doo Koo Kai classical dance group, and the Buddhist Church’s Ohana Mele ukulele group.  Commemorative bazaar merchandise will also be available for purchase at the event.
