The Land Park Community Association is hosting a special public safety meeting free to the community. Public Safety Speakers will discuss; the current state of crime and law enforcement in our neighborhood, why a rise in crime is happening, what needs to change, and what citizens can do to help.

Speakers include:

Captain Daniel Monk & Lieutenant Brian Kinney – Introductions and law enforcement efforts to protect neighbors

Mick Boyd – Staffing data, patrol numbers

Thien Ho, Deputy District Attorney Assistant for Sacramento County – No bail, early release programs and the connection to dangerous felons. What neighbors need to know and what they can do. Attorney Ho is best known for his work on the Golden State Killer case.

Place:   William A. Carroll Amphitheater in Land Park (near Fairy Tale Town and next to the Rock Garden)

This is an outdoor event. Please social distance and bring a mask. Concerned people can bring their own chairs and sit in “pods” if they are more comfortable.
