The event is scheduled for the Village Green area in Land Park. Around 700 people are expected to attend. Some roads will be blocked off for this permitted event.

Excluding skin cancers, colorectal cancer is the third most common type of cancer.  Both women and men can get it and the American Cancer Society estimates the number of colorectal cancer cases in the U.S. for 2022 are:

106,180 New cases of colon cancer

44,850 new cases of rectal cancer

The rate has dropped since the mid-1980’s due to more people getting screened and changing their lifestyle. Great news – but there’s more to do!
