Welcome to LPCA’s 12 Days of Charity!

December 13, 2020 @ 8:00 am - December 25, 2020 @ 5:00 pm

Searching for a way to help others this holiday, even from home? The below charities are local or local divisions. Many of these charities do not receive federal funding and are really hurting this year. They only rely on local, city, county and state funding. They also ensure your donation will go directly to persons, or animals, in need around our Sacramento community.

Salvation Army Angel Tree  https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/brighten-the-holidays/

You can rescue Christmas by supporting the Angel Tree. Click on the link to learn how it works this year. You can order toys and other items directly online and our Sacramento Salvation Army will do the rest.

Sacramento Food Bank https://www.sacramentofoodbank.org

This non-profit is like a local “clearing house” for a wide array of good deeds and charity to varied populations. If you have a particular passion (gardening, teaching, helping refugees, emergency assistance), you can connect and donate.

Wildlife Care Association https://wildlifecareassociation.com/

Let’s remember the animals who are impacted too! The Wild Care Association helps more than 6,000 orphaned and injured wild animals every year and relies 100% on donations. If you’ve contacted them to take in an injured bird, bat, squirrel, raccoons, opossums, etc. – you know what they do.

Okay – we said 12, but how can we leave out the fur babies?

 Itsie Bitsie Rescue, Inc. http://www.itsiebitsierescue.org/

Un-weaned kittens and puppies need extra care. This team provides the specialized shelter, care, and time for the babies to grow. Then, the animals are put up for adoption for loving homes.
