For the 2nd year in a row Land Park neighbors showed their heart and donated to the LPCA/Blue Star Moms drive in December. Land Park neighbors donated $4,625 worth of items that were boxed and shipped to our overseas troops. Neighbors also gave $725 in financial donations to Blue Star Moms. Your donation helped lift the spirits of many of our service people who were separated from their families during the 2021 holiday.
Debbie Konvalin, President of Sac Blue Star Moms (CA07) sent us this letter of appreciation to our community:2021 Letter to LPCA (CARE Package Collection Drive)
Debbie partnered with several LPCA board members, including Art Taylor and Craig Rutledge who helped to collect and deliver goods to her team. Students from McClatchy High also volunteered to pass out 2,400 flyers and help spread the word to our community.
