The Land Park Community Association has an opening for a part-time administrative assistant for twenty hours a month.

 Duties Include:

  • Support the President and Executive Board
  • Support Treasurer by collecting mail and manage basic bookkeeping
  • Prepare 501(c)3 Compliance reports and tax filings to IRS and the Secretary of State and other government entities, as required
  • Draft Letters, maintain mailing lists, prepare simple reports (as needed)
  • Maintain email lists
  • Maintain digital and physical records
  • Assist with board meetings and community meetings (attend, help with membership table, assist as needed)
  • Obtain permits and insurance coverage (as needed)
  • Assist Membership Committee with monthly reports, member outreach and member records
  • Support President with Annual Board Retreat (1 day event)
  • Post agendas and approved minutes to website
  • Work with President to send out monthly e-newsletter and ad hoc announcements

 

Skills:

Great Organizing and time management skills\Basic understanding of Word, Mailchimp and QuickBooks

Non-profit experience appreciated but not necessary

Must have the ability to work from home. Computer, Printer, etc.

Must either live in Land Park or close nearby

This is a great opportunity for someone who has a flexible work schedule or retired.
